self isolation across the Nation

Self isolation across the Nation. I wake up at 7:30 and go and have my breakfast. I have what I have every morning 2 pieces of toast and cornflakes so my numbers are level. I then go into my room and find that half my blankets are on my floor ready to get washed. I jump over them and my wardrobe meets me on the other side. I grab my favourite glassons skirt and my grey huffer top and go and have a hot shower. As I am coming up the stairs after the shower I pull my charger out of my pump and step on all the lego.. “Ow” I scream in silence. I chuck my clothes on and chuck my hair up in a messy high pony. I then go and watch some tv to keep me from being bored. I have spicy noodles for lunch and organise to meet Ella (my best friend and neighbour) to meet at the fence with a deck chair in five. I run into the garage, grab a deck chair and run onto the grass that meets her house. I sit there for like 2 seconds before she comes running out of her house. Don't worry we sat on the opposite side of the fence 2 meters apart like we were told. For the rest of the afternoon we sat there talking and playing music. Our sisters and my brother decided they would join us so we all did some truth or dares. And that was one best day I have had in self isolation so far anyway. By Hazel

where I am from

where I am from. I'm from living in Weston, from bike rides to the shop to get my favourite lollies. I am from miniball every Tuesday and basketball every Wednesday. I'm from hot oozy marshmallows between melting chocolate thins, the smell of the fire burning the sticks. Cuddled up after on the squeaky small stretchers thinking about the day ahead. I am from cousin days every holiday, from biking around and hot chips afterwards. From late nights telling stories. I'm from every night the cat and dog on my bed, from furry hairy blankets and them being right in my face. I am from playing board games at night with my family. I am from constant carb counting and regularly injections. I'm from listening to my favourite songs over and over again. I am from being neighbours with my best friend, from fun times with them and making lots of good memories. By Hazel
